Your first visit with Lisa may be up to one hour in length and includes a detailed health history and complaint-oriented physical exam. You will be asked to complete a seven day diet diary to help Lisa in analyzing your current nutritional status. A urine sample may be obtained to perform diagnostic tests to further assess your current state of health.

The following tests may be performed during your initial assessment and are included in the cost of your first visit:

Urine Dipstick: This is a general screen for blood, glucose, nitrites (bacterial infection), white blood cells, ketones, pH and bilirubin.

Urinary Adrenal Test (Koenisburg): This is a useful test in detecting or monitoring under-active or over-active adrenal function, typically the result of experiencing long-term physical or emotional stress.

Urinary Calcium Test (Sulkowitch): This test assesses how effectively the body uses calcium. The Sulkowitch test is used for weakness, insomnia, osteoporosis, brittle nails, leg cramps or heart palpitations.

In addition, the following tests are available as required at an additional cost:

Urinary Heavy Metal Test: This test screens for toxic levels of heavy metals, namely copper, zinc, cadmium, mercury, lead and nickel.

Food Allergy Testing: This blood test assesses reactivity to 96 different foods. Food sensitivity has been linked to many conditions including arthritis, eczema and infertility.

Environmental Allergy Testing: This pinprick test assesses reactivity to six different environmental allergens. Single allergen testing is also available.

Upon obtaining all pertinent information Lisa will then create a comprehensive treatment plan. Subsequent visits will consist of carrying out treatment, careful symptom monitoring and adjustments to the treatment plan as required.
